Progressive Pest Management

The Progressive Pest Management approach comprises three essential components:

• Establishing control of pesticides
• Reducing the use, risks and dependency of pesticides, and
• Taking action for integrated pest management, IPM
  

The PPM concept  - as well as  some of the contents  of this website - is based on the policy document Progressive Pest Management - Controlling Pesticides and Implementing Integrated Pest Management produced by the Pesticides Trust, predecessor of Pesticide Action Network UK, for the Commission of the European Communities (read the document here )
